In 1930s Chicago lonely Frankenstein seeks brilliant scientist Dr Euphronious begging him to create a companion who might ease the ache of isolation that shadows every step of his unnatural life. Desperate curiosity and reckless ambition draw the scientist into the experiment and together they recover the body of a murdered young woman determined to shape her into the Bride he believes will end his misery.

Yet the revival births something far less predictable than the comfort promised. As the woman awakens confused and afraid she questions the men who decided she should live. Their attempt at love unravels into blame fear and consequence forcing creator monster and Bride toward ruin.
